You Are Not Fit To Be A Senator, PDP Tells Al-Makura, As He Declares For Senate

The Nasarawa State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party  following the declaration of the two time governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura to vie for Southern zone senatorial seat has described the governor as unfit for the business.

The Chairman disclosed this when reacting over the comment of governor, he further said Al-Makura lacks the quality of representing the Southern zone.

” Without any apology, everybody whether Alago,Eggon, TIV, Farmers,civil servants are feeling the bad side of the government.

“The governor sold everything that belong to Nasarawa State and I’m assuring you that if PDP reclaimed her mandate come 2019 we will reverse the sales”.

He said the declaration of Al-Makura for Senate is a wakeup call to us in PDP, we will implore every other way to ensure that we beat Al-Makura hands down.

Al-Makura during his speech said the declaration followed series of calls by critical stakeholders including the former governor, Abdullahi Adamu, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Local Government Chairmen and other political groups.

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe said the State is a one parry State.

“We have a herculean task ahead of us as a party and task is to take over senate, Reps, Assembly and other elective position.

The Chairman, Philip Tatari Shekwor said Al-Makura has killed opposition in the Nasarawa State.

Advising the party Chieftain not to under rate any opposition, saying Al-Makura deserved the senatorial ticket.
