The Real Development Of Nasarawa State Started From CPC To APC-APC Chairman

Alhaji Aliyu Bello, The Nasarawa State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress has said the real development of Nasarawa State started with the administration of the former two terms Governor and Senator representing Nasarawa South Senatorial district then,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura under his former platform, The Congress for Progressives Change.

The Chairman gave the hint during an interview with selected Journalists at the party’s Secretariat, Rabiu Omaku of the Universal Reporters writes

This interview was in reaction to an exclusive interview with the Nasarawa State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon.Francis Orogu, he described the APC  as a conglomeration of deceit and lairs amongst others.

Alhaji Aliyu Bello said the sixteen years of the People’s Democratic Party rule in the State was a total charade and motion without movement.

Giving instances of the quantum of rural roads awarded in subsequent budgets, monies were released but nothing to show for it. The ruling party Chairman opined that the thirteen years of journeys of CPC, and APC in Nasarawa State are incomparable regarding quality representation and leadership. He however averred that the incumbent Governor, Abdullahi Sule did not collect any debt during five years in office descrbing Sule as a refined personality who mean well for the State.

Are You Saying APC is Nasarawa State  and Nasarawa State is APC.

Say it louder, that we are optimistic that APC  will rule beyond  2024, I will inform you that Engineer Sule has done a lot in five years and we in APC are proud to associate with him, And for the record, Governor  Abdullahi Sule will hand over to an APC  Government come 2027 by the grace of God.

The PDP in Nasarawa State says the party may not participate in the forthcoming Council election because even if the opposition party wins the election it would be manipulated as it was obtainable in the previous Local Government poll, what is your take?

I’m not surprised to hear this from a drowning party Chairman, Is he still the Chairman? His days are numbered already as the man at the behest of affairs, The PDP thought this when they were in Government and today is our turn, Orogu

He is afraid of a replication of the landslide victory of the APC in the last election that brought the crop of elected officials to Keana.

The PDP tasted the bitter piles of politics in the last election, both for House of Assembly and Local Government Chairmanship, He has never won an election as a State Chairman of his party, Francis Orogu knows my capability and capacity because I display my political prowess to him on several occasions even at the re-run that brought back Hon.Omadefu AKA Quality as a member House of Assembly representing Keana constituency.

The State Chairman of the PDP, Hon Francis Orogu described the ongoing flyover and Underpass of Governor Sule in the State capital as a misplacement of priority, He says the money is supposed to be diverted to fight gully erosion in Lafia, The State capital. What is your reaction to this Chairman?

Is pitiful for somebody like Francis Orogu to react in such a way over the multi-billion naira project in the State capital, The Flyover, and Underpass even in the prototype of the project it added an aesthetic to the State capital and for him to say there are no vehicles in Lafia is a sign of unpatriotic.

A good example of this is maybe for the first time you are visiting the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja you will discover that the Federal Government has set aside a vast land with a good master plan, I mean a layout where roads were constructed, light and water pipelines were laid down. The building of the flyover and Underpass in Lafia, The State capital is what Orogu will criticize the APC for, what we are doing today is tomorrow’s plan instead of allowing the entire place to be overstretched.

Hon Orogu buttressed that the characteristics of APC administration is a Government of deceit and liars, Do you subscribe to this opinion?

One is entitled to his opinion and secondly, I told you he is a drowning man, and what do you expect from him?

He will never say anything good to us, Hon Orogu is a party Chairman and he’s running for his second term in office which was his last assignment in the party, You don’t expect any good comments from him.

He also described President Tinubu led Federal Government and Engineer Abdullahi Sule administration in Nasarawa State in terms of performance one year in office as a mere gimmick though rating President Tinubu higher than Muhammadu Buhari.

Is a controversial politician to rate President Muhammad Buhari low.Orogu is a difficult politician and coming back to Nasarawa State , Governor Abdullahi Sule has embarked on remarkable projects not in one year but five years in office

He has employed, so far over 4000 teachers in secondary schools, employed lecturers at all the existing tertiary institutions, Given permanent employment to almost all casual staff in the State civil services,, constructed roads, provided operational vehicles to security operatives, enhanced the education sector, boost agriculture, reinvigorate the State Internally Generated Revenue through the introduction of Central Billing System, The Bureau for Rural Roads, Bureau for Public Procurement and amongst others like prompt released of pension and gratuity and maybe lastly the free registration of 16,000 students for National Examination Council.

I will recall during the years of PDP, road contracts were awarded and money released repeatedly in the State budget but to no avail as those roads only exist on the pages of Newspapers,And Francis Orogu has the gut to say the fortress of the ruling party, The APC was built on deceit and lairs.

I can vividly tell you today that “the real development of Nasarawa State started with the reign of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura under the auspices of the Congress for Progressives Change before it metamorphosed to the All Progressives Congress where Al-Makura rule for two consecutive terms and now Engineer Abdullahi Sule is in his second term, “It might interest you that come 2027, The APC is going to hand over to an APC administration.

One thing I forgot to tell you is that Engineer Abdullahi Sule did not collect a dine as a loan in the last five years as he piloted the affairs of Nasarawa State, This one alone is a serious development for us as a party.

Go to the thirteen Local Governments of the State, Abdullahi Sule has left an indelible mark on the sands of time, Tell anybody that during our thirteen years as the Governor of Nasarawa State the APC performed creditably than the sixteen wasted years of the People’s Democratic Party.
