Uzodinma Says APC Prepared To Win Ngor-Okpala Bye-Election Feb.26

As part of increasing the political capacity of Imo APC members ahead of the Feb.26th Bye-election in the state, the Imo State Governor, Sen.Hope Uzodinma, has strengthened the mindsets of the party during a critical stakeholders meeting.

The gathering of politicians at the Owerri/Okigwe Party Secretariat Owerri attracted all the leaders of the party, appointees, and other party stakeholders under the Chairman of party, Hon.Sir.MacDonald Ebere,  recorded a huge success.

Those in attendance include The Chief of Staff to the Govt.of Imo State, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, the Secretary to the Govt.of Imo State, Sir.Cosmos Iwu, the members of the Imo State House of Assembly,  IMHA, led by the Deputy Speaker, Rt.Hon.Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwa, some Commissioners, and cross-sections of youths under the coordination of the Imo APC Youth Leader, Hon. Hyginus  Udoka Iwueke, amongst members of the party.

Speaking, the Imo State Governor, Sen.Hope Uzodinma, expressed satisfaction with the leadership styles of the State Party Chairman, Sir.Macdonald Ebere, even as he commended congratulated all the party executives for their emergence at the last congresses held.

The Governor said,” My Shared Prosperity Government is responsible to offer quality leadership. I have come to make APC marketable. I am prepared to make Imo the best state in Nigeria. We must be prepared to win every election because no election is small”.

Uzodinma while addressing the party members charged them to always think about the progress and development of the party, insisted that enemies of APC and his Shared Prosperity Government are busy hiring bandits from neighboring states with their sole aim at destroying and distracting his govt.

Advising party members, Uzodinma encouraged APC to win elections, added that the party must endeavour to mobilize from the grassroots so as to cling to the vacant seat of Ngor-Okpala Bye-election.

In conclusion, the Governor said, ” We as a party must get prepared to win the Feb.26th Ngor-Okpala Bye-election. We must get ready to take over and to remind you that all those who walked harder for the successes of the party must be adequately be compensated and rewarded”.

Meanwhile, Hon.Sylvester Chidi Ekeh, an aspirant for the Ngor-Okpala Bye-election whom Governor Uzodinma pleaded to step down for the candidate, Hon.Blyden Amajirionwu, but now the Campaign Director-General for Amajirionwu, expressed optimism that the candidate APC Ngor-Okpala Bye-election will definitely win the Feb.26th polls.

In a related development, the Governor who was at the stakeholders meeting held Monday, February 21st 2022, raised the whopping sum of over N35 million in support of the forthcoming electioneering campaign at Ngor-Okpala.
