University Of Jos Killing:  Dr. Pasali  Advocates For Special Security Outfit Be Deploy

The National Coordinator of  Buhari Campaign Organization (BCO), Alh. Dr. Danladi Garba Pasali has advocated for an outstanding security outfit specifically around all the universities across  Nigeria with modern security gadgets to prevent a constant threat to the lives and properties of Nigerian students.

 

 

He called on the attorney general of Nigeria and  Plateau state to review the criminal justice system that will punish offenders with the death penalty, especially the bandits, kidnappers who killed, and they’re set free after a long delay in delivery of Justice.

 

 

According to him, a special court should be introduced to make offenders punishable by death if convicted by a competent court of law, any person or group of persons that are found wanting by the court of jurisdiction causing crisis and killed should deal with.

 

Dr. Pasali in an interview with our correspondent at his residence in Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau state, Pasali is the National Secretary of Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria.

 

He lamented that since the crisis broke up in  Plateau state   20 years ago, no single person was arrested and punished to serve as a deterrent to some Crisis merchants whose stocks in trade are to cause mayhem to innocent people which they never wanted crises to end.

 

The years of crisis is a fallout of the injustice of the past government that sees the indigents /settlers as the reason for the causes crises that persisted on the Plateau.

 

 

 

He further appealed that until the government and those within the corridor of power, the judiciary can summon the courage to view the current obsolete criminal justice laws, that will make it punishable with death for a person, group persons who aided and abate crisis in Nigeria or else we will continue to witness this systematic attack.

 

 

Dr. Pasali explained further that the judicial reform is very apt now if the federal government would give matching orders because human life is precious that any person will just walk up and began to cut-shut another person with no provocation.

 

When this reform is made, which will take care of the obsolete Criminal Justice law, which is now obsolete with a lot of lacuna, that will make it punishable by death for any person that kills Nigeria would be better, he added.

 

He Condemned the recent Killings at Rukuba road and Yelwan Zangam community in the state, however, stressed that no religion, Christianity, and Islam,  encourage the killing of another person no matter the level of provocation.

 

 

On the current issue of insecurity bedeviling the country, Pasali said,

“Security is everybody’s business and is not the responsibility of the government alone, all must be involve”.

 

And further added that in must time, looking at the way things are happening in respect to insecurity, one will be forced to insinuate that it’s politically motivated. On the recent Plateau Crisis, you can see that it’s politically motivated. He maintained.

 

Alh. Danladi Pasali advocated for criminal justice reform, holistically to help fight against insecurity, as he also commended  Gov. Simon  Lalong on the successful conduct of APC Ward And LG congresses.

 

 

Pasali appealed to Nigeria to stop politicizing the issue of insecurity in the country because the lives of the citizens are very precious.

“We are appealing to Nigerians to stop politicizing the issue of security because the life of the people is precious”.

“We should not be handling the issues of security with Political mindset, and said security is a serious issue and everybody’s business”.

 

He argued all a sundry irrespective of Political, religious, and ethnic lineage to support the government for us to end this security challenge.

The APC Chieftain in the state thanks God that life has returned to normal after the senseless crisis that engulfed the state a few weeks ago, claiming lives and properties, reiterated his condemnation as killing in any religion are not allowed.

” So far things have normalized, when you look at what really happened, some people want to politicize the security challenges, which is wrong because the killing of people in any religion is condemnable and if there are issues like this, we should look the way forward.”

 

“Thank God that the situation has been brought under control, and the government is on top of the situation, the communities are now working together to bring the perpetrator of the heinous Crimes to book and face the law.”

Pasali thanked Governor Bako Lalong for the Peaceful conduct of APC Ward and local government congress in the state.

But called on the winners to be magnanimous in Victory, and carry the losers along in the Political schemes of things, and added that in every contest, there must be a winner and a loser.

 

“In Plateau State, we have Peaceful, ugly, and organized Congress. The state has one of the most peaceful Congresses, we thanked the Governor for that. You know that in every contest, there must be a winner or loser.i want the loser to take it in good faith, and the winner to be magnanimous in Victory and accommodate the losers in their programs”.

 

 

“APC is one family, I thank Governor Bako Lalong for his leadership sagacity role in supervising the just concluded Congresses by making sure all APC families are in one house.”

 

And however, maintained that with success recorded by APC in the state, during the conduct of Ward and LG Congresses, the party did not have anything to fear in the forthcoming state Congress and National Convention.

 

He further thanked Governor Lalong for bringing the party together as one family and added that without that there is little the party could achieve.
