  • Is Not True, Students Without Exam Card Scuffled Deputy Provost

Hell were let loose last Thursday at the examination hall of the state Teachers Training Institute known as the College of Education, Akwanga, Nasarawa State as students scuffled with the Deputy Provost of the school.

The Deputy Provost met his waterloo and if not for the timely intervention of the representative of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

The trouble started according to eyewitness after being beating about three to four Students at exams hall, reliable source averred that over twenty students joined the free for all beating.

It took the interventions of lecturers and security to save the Deputy Provost from the hands of the aggrieved students, it was learnt that Victor was not given Exam Card but insisted to write the examination.

At the time of filling this report normalcy is returning to the school which was shut down by the management to prevent the escalation of the rift.

The Provost, Dr. Rebbeca Isaac Umar in an interview debunked the information saying gang of irresponsible students attacked her Deputy while performing his obligation.

“The unserious students caused commotion and traveled home, is just fragment of the students that causes the upheaval”, we gave them Friday to Monday to ensure that students should fulfill all the processes while examination would commence on Tuesday.

“Our greatest hiccups in this College are students of N. D Students “she added.

“Any misbehavior from the students would lead to the closure of the institution until Journey 2018”, Dr.Rebbeca asserted.

The Provost hinted that students paid only N17, 000 once per session as school fees.
