Following a comments made by Islamic cleric, Sheik Sani Yahaya Jingir he has tendered apology to Nigerian over covid-19 comments which he said Muslims to disregard the order of restrictions of movement and observe total compliance to the spreading of disease in Nigeria.
The Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong pleaded with the security personnel not to manhandled the Sheikh or allow him to harass considering his aged ,as the police whisky him over the violation of order on CoronaVirus.
Briefing newsmen at the Plateau State command ,the spokesman pleaded anonymity saying, the Islamic cleric would have been rough handled considering the gravity of his offence he committed which had threaten our National security.
The security personnel cautioned that the state government and security apparatus where left with no other options then to treat the matter lightly.

Such violation of the state government’s directives on COVID-19 by both Muslim and Christian clerics is now causing the problem of compliance from the people in the state.
