The governor of Nasarawa state, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has been commended by the rector of the Nasarawa state Polytechnic, Lafia Dr.Silas Gyar for the construction of two hostel accommodations.
Dr.Gyar gave the revelation at the matriculation of 2016-2017 students of the Consultancy Services Unit held today (Saturday) ,the representative of the rector,Loius Ogah said the construction of the two hostel accommodations would reduce the burden faced by students.
The rector applauded the state government for the uncommon transformation of hostels, classrooms and office accommodations, reading riot acts to cultist, he in addition said the polytechnic has zero tolerance for cultism.
“Stating that any person caught in the act would be expel from the institution” calling on students to strive for excellence by working hard.
He called on the matriculated students to shun criminality, forgery, stealing and other social vices, he also commended the cordial relationship that had been existing between students and staff of the Polytechnic.
