Provost College Of Health Technology, Azuba, Lafia Called For Financial Support

The Provost College of Health Technology, Azuba, Lafia has called on Nasarawa State government and the affluent in the state and beyond to accord support to the College, he stated this during an interview with selected Journalists at the permanent site of the College.

He said the College which was established in 2012 which kick-started its academic programs in 2013 has not receive a single dine as financial assistance from either the Tertiary Education Trust Fund or the Nasarawa State government.

The Provost listed some of the preponderance of the College to include low enrollment of students, funding, and power supply and amongst others as the major constraints affecting the College.

“We have approval for the running of Medical Science Laboratory and we are expecting the accreditation of Community Health very soon”.

“Our hostels are ongoing, we have up to date facilities, enough classrooms, cyber cafe and standard laboratory and computer room”.

While fielding questions from Journalists on the tuition fees charge per student, the Provost averred that the College is one of the institution charging least school fees.

“We charge N92, 000 for newly admitted student while the subsequent fee is not much “he added.

Calling on people with interest on health related courses to take advantage of Olivet College of Health Technology, Azuba, Lafia to actualize their dreams.

“Our school is committed to give the best to its Students.

The College is expecting members of the regulatory body on the 2nd July, 2017, it was expected that the body would inspect facilities, number of lecturers and among other things.
