The Chairman of the Governing Council and Pro-Chancellor, Federal University Lafia, Professor Munzali Jibril, has expressed satisfaction with the standard of facilities in the institution.
He gave the disclosure when he recently led members of the Governing Council on an inspection tour of the ongoing construction of the staff office complex and multipurpose research centre at the Permanent Site Campus of the university.
Jibril applauded the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Sanusi Liman for exhibiting good leadership qualities, urging him to keep up the good works.
Munzali specifically praised Liman for his judicious management of the university’s meagre Internally Generated Revenue, calling on the Federal Government to provide funds to the university to undertake “our pipeline projects that could, if realised, transform the university into one of the best in the country.”
At the end of the tour, the chairman of the Governing Council thanked the members of the management for their commitment and dedication.
As he assured them that the Council would continue to assist them to discharge their responsibilities.
The Vice-Chancellor while reacting thanked the Council members for their support, saying that the Council was instrumental to the achievements recorded in the university under the Professor Liman.
