The National President of Nigerian Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) ,Comrade Solomon Adodo has endorsed Hon Kefas Ropshit Wungshit for the governorship seat of Plateau State come  2023 , saying,”it is time for the youth of Nigeria to rise up for a united Nigeria .”

He admonished Nigerian youths to rise up for a united Nigeria and drum support for one of their members aspiring for elective positions in the country.

Adodo made this disclosure during his courtesy visit to Hon Kefas Wungak Ropshit at his residence in Jos.

He said since 2015 when they took over the mantle of leadership of the Nigerian youth, we have been talking about bills which we have harped on youth who will take over the leadership.

We are talking about men and Women of integrity among the youth who have a clean record of excellent character and behavior to accommodate others and Kefas Ropshit had that record of achievement for himself.

According to him, their visit to Hon Kefas marks the beginning of a  turning point for all the youth in this country , we have been encouraging them throughout the country and talking about mass media also embarking on direct contact on the way forward.

He explained further that fortunately in some states, we have the right youth, but for us here in Plateau state we have already seen Hon Kefas Wungshit Ropshit as the right youth, as youth we saw his antecedents in business as a man with mighty touch and we have seen his impact reflecting in communities level also saw what he has done in politics. When we talk about youth taking over the leadership of this great country we emphasize their participation in the leadership process, but we don’t just talk about bringing everyone out of the blues-only those that kept to the tenets of requirement demand to govern people with a mature mind.

However, we are not going to say that because you have the fine face or beautiful attires to wear to come out for president or governorship and to come to aspire for House of representatives, we are talking about people who are well respected and honour to move and control their constituents vote very well.

We gave a task to all the youth several years ago that if any one of us that is gunning for elective office must engage the people of their constituency by making sure that they held meetings with other youth including community leaders.

Adodo says, If Nigerian youth want to take over we must ensure that we go down to the rural communities and speak to the young men and women, mobilize resources to create awareness at all level.

He stated Kefas Ropshit is someone who is qualified to aspire for the governorship seat of Plateau state and we the youth are behind his ambition to make sure that he clinches the seat.

“We can also raise the amount of money needed for him and no degree of intimidation that they shall  Marshall to stop this progress will affect us “, he said.

It is time for the youth of Nigeria to rise up for a united Nigeria.
