A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , Plateau State Chapter, Hon Rotshak Kefas Wungak , alias Kefiyanu has admonished politicians contesting elections in Nigeria to reflect on the teaching of Jesus Christ and emulate his sacrifice for humanity.
Kefas stated this in his Easter Messages to Nigerians at his Rayfield home by calling on all politicians to eschew politics of bitterness and character assassination during the electioneering campaign.
He said the Easter period is all about the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross of calvary for us to have a new life through him .
According to him, Jesus Christ’s resurrection gives us hope to live again, this is to remind us that we still have hope to be alive for someone to sacrifice himself and his life is wonderful.
Kefas disclosed that human kindness is a gift and is not an ordinary decision to make when I narrow it to our elections in Nigeria it would very sad, so I won’t call on politicians today to know the mandate of people that come to you is not your own.
He advised that please if you don’t have the people at heart, you don’t have to take that decision and if you don’t have what it takes for you to think humanity then forget politics.
Hon Ropshit explained further that if someone thinks of humanity that person is ready to make a personal sacrifice and we advise politician to see it as leaders.
He noted that the whole exercise is not only to contest elections but to ensure that human beings enjoy the level of leadership.
Kefas added that” I want a politician to die and rise for humanity, we must give attention to the issue that involves providing qualitative representatives to the people “.
