Hucapan Rejoices With Christians, Sues For Peace

The Human Capital Providers Association of Nigeria, HuCaPAN, has congratulated Christians for marking another Easter and urged Nigerians to use the period to reflect, pray and work for peace.

In a statement issued by the President of the Association in Lagos today, Dr. Olufemi Ogunlowo, said that the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ which is at the centre of the Christian faith assures victory saying that the sufferings that Christ passed through brought deliverance from sins and redemption to mankind.

He urged Christians to faithfully practice Jesus’ teachings on love, hope and sacrifice.

He said, “The economy is in dire straits. This is partly so because of the insecurity in the country.

“The economy can only grow when there is peace and tranquility. Therefore, as stakeholders in the Nigerian project, we must pray for peace.

“Christ overcame the power of darkness, forces of evil and that of death. This teaches us resilience, patience and determination. We must be ready to do all that is necessary to bring peace to Nigeria”.

Ogunlowo called on the government to do more to tame the growing insecurity in Nigeria stressing that Nigeria is destined for greatness.

HuCaPAN is the umbrella Association of licensed Private Employment Agencies, PEAs, in Nigeria.
