Plateau Igbo High Chief Congratulates Barr.Caleb Mutfwang Landslide Victory

The Plateau State Igbo’s High Traditional Title Holder ,Chief Livinus Ochenje Achi has congratulated the Governor-Elect ,Barr. Caleb Manasseh  Mutfwang on his landslide victory as he emerged victorious in the just concluded general elections to restore and provide the desired leadership and regain the confidence of all the ethnic nationality residents in the state.

Ochenje stated this during an exclusive interview at Rwang Street of Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau state.

He says, we are very happy with the return of the Peoples Democratic Party , PDP, in Plateau state considering the hardship been experienced and the tremendous performance of the Former Governor Jonah David Jang where their community Apata also witness transformation in roads network amongst the Igbo’s residents in Jos.

According to him , the positive contributions of the Igbo race in economic transformation can’t be over emphasis but he employed the incoming government to put in place a blueprint and  program with beautiful policy to address lingering crises in the state.

Chief Livinus Ochenje appealed to the incoming governor to continue to maintain the unity and ensure that peace returned to all the look and crannies of Plateau so that business activities would strive.

He harped on the revamping and developing infrastructural decay suffer in the last eight years by promoting peaceful coexistence amongst all the citizens because the state belongs to all of us.

Livinus decried the wasteful 8 years of APC government on the Plateau as he compared it with the regime of Jang where the people rejoices and know what is called the dividends of democracy but, we didn’t see the presence of the APC government in our community.

However, on the scorecards of the Lalong , Chief Livinus Ochenje gave him a past mark of 60% in the area of development.

He called on Igbo’s , Hausa, Fulani, and the entire indigenes of the state to overwhelmingly support the incoming government that, “we should all join hands to fight insecurity and protect lives and properties of the state, “.

Chief Livinus cautioned the herders /farmers to respect each other’s boundaries and avoid unnecessary issues that can trigger conflict in their dormant.

He disclosed that they should always be cautious and verify the information before acting on it to curtain violence esteem because we are all one family so we must all work together to promote peaceful coexistence amongst us for development to take place.

Ochenje admonished farmers to stop rustling cows and Fulani and also to avoid grazing or encroaching into farmlands where crops are planted.
