Plateau Govt Declares Plan Toward Revamping BARC Farm, Jos Main Market Authority & Tourism, Hospitality Industry -Arc Nanchang Jatau

The Plateau State, Secretary to the Government of the State ,Arc. Samuel Nanchang Jatau has disclosed the state government’s plans to revamp the Barch farm and Jos main Market authority, Tourism, and Hospitality Industry which had remained moribund for several decades.

Addressing journalists at New Government House Rayfield, Arc. Nanchang Samuel Jatau speaks on the policy program of Caleb Mutfwang’s stewardship of rebuilding the lost glory of the State.

Nanchang said,” The governor is completely overwhelmed with joy for the massive support and confidence reposed on him and his party men and women in PDP as he pledged that the administration shall do everything possible not to dash their hopes.

“Our goal will be to provide equal opportunity for all irrespective of place of birth or religion and at the same time improve the general living standard of our people. This could be achieved if we regard ourselves as our brothers’ keeper, because if we fail to swim together, we shall all drown together as fools, and this will be very tragic not only for the state but Nigeria as a whole “, Jatau told citizens.

“We have cleared all the hurdles, We have won with thunderous applause from all, with you people in mind , we  endeavor to make Plateau State a model and pacesetter inequitable distribution of amenities “,

Jatau stated that substantial progress will be made in the field of hotels and tourism through the expansion of the existing facilities at Hill Station, Plateau Hotel, Jos Hotel, and the Jos Wildlife Park, while forgiving our detractors, we aim to always be peaceful and tolerable, because PDP ideology in mind is to transform and reform the state, improving the status of the people, making life meaningful and a little better than the last eight years.

The community of Zaileke is so happy that activities of government have resumed farming on Barch farm they’re so excited that the old farming community can move freely because the activities of bandits had crippled everything.

According to him, the bandits create a threat to the host community so Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang is an action governor when sworn in he kick-started the process of transforming the state capital and transport sector, roads network, clearing the backlog of workers’ salary, arrears from 1986 to date.

He explained that Caleb Mutfwang can’t make empty promises to the electorate the government is working with foreign bodies to harness the potential of investing in Agric and the BARC farm is on the top list.

Jatau added that after 8 years of Governor Caleb Mutfwang the people of Plateau State would celebrate him for living the state better than he met, this is a God-fearing government but all we are asking from the people of the state is unity and eschewing politics of bitterness campaign of blackmail.

He maintained that Plateau weather remains one of the country’s best and we are employing those who left to return and take advantage of the Serene of the hospitality industry for investment.

Nanchang admonished the people of Plateau State that the tourism and hospitality industry should be given adequate attention to encourage more investors within and outside of the State.
