Plateau Concerned Youth Urges Govt To Disregard Agents Of Conspiracy On Plateau Assembly Clerk “Mr Ponven Wuyep”

A group under the aegis of Plateau Concerned Youth has condemned the allegations of maladministration finger against the Plateau State House of Assembly,(PLSHA) , clerk Mr. Ponven Wuyep as unfounded, baseless that is capable of destroying the wheel of Progress in the state.
In a press statement, the group frowned at those perpetrators as enemies of the state coming with their bias and lopsided view to misled citizens on their selfish agenda.
The Spokesman of the group, Comrade Danjuma Abdullahi stated this in a press statement made available to journalists in Jos.
The statement urged media to always verify their fact before going to press because some people are bend on wreaking havoc to the Plateau state House of Assembly.
He disclosed that under the PLSHA Service commission there are the various heads of departments who are responsible for holding meetings and briefing their department.
According to Abdullahi, the clerk is only in charge of the administration of the House, the directors are saddle with the duty of handling and coordinating the departmental head of the house.
He reiterated that for the record, we want to go straight to the function of who spearheaded the arrangement for department meeting is not the clerk but departments, the clerk only called for management meetings.
Abdullahi accused some fraction of the house of Assembly staff for misleading the general public with the issue of qualification of the present clerk, Mr. Ponven Wuyep.
“We refer those who are interested in knowing what the law says about the qualification of the PLSHA Assembly service commission which explains vividly that any officer heading the house of Assembly must be staff from level 9 officer and above”, he said.
” As concerned Youth, we charge anyone cares to know to investigate more on modi operandi on how a clerk or the deputy clerk of the house can be appointed to head such a lucrative position when it comes to civil service rules in Nigeria “, he read.
Abdullahi pointed out that how can a person of Mr. Ponven Wuyep who has risen through the rank of a chief legislative level officer to be named and described as someone that doesn’t have the prerequisite requires qualification to head the house.
The statement maintained that how can a group emerge from nowhere to constitute illegal condemnation against Ponven Wuyep who is competent to head the House of Assembly as the clerk after all the years of meritorious service to the past and present government of Plateau state.
