Former Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly Rt Hon George Edward Daika has formally joined the 2019 Plateau Gubernatorial race under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
George Daika who is also a former Member Representing Shendam/Mikang/Quan’pan Federal Constituency stormed the State PDP office with hundreds of his supporters to formally declare his intention.
He was received by the State EXCO of the PDP led by the Chairman Hon DT Sango.
Sango promised a level playing ground for all aspirants, while reiterating that PDP remains the only credible alternative to the ruling APC which he said had performed poorly.
On the entourage of Rt Hon George Edward Daika include former State Assembly members, former LG Chairmen as well as former Commissioners who serve the Plateau State Government in the recent past.
