Owerri Zone Senate 2023: Ugosly May Be Good But Surrounded With Sycophants, Political Beasts

As the 2023 general elections gear closer, so many political merchants and aspirants are jostling to be elected into one elective position or the other, but the case of one gentleman popularly known as Ugosly seems to be very unique.

From Owerri Zone Extraction of Imo State, one of the aspirants, Hon.Hillary Ugochukwu Nwachukwu, aka Ugosly, who hails from Ogwa Mbaitoli LGA, who in 2019 contested the Senatorial Aspirant under PDP but failed has again resurfaced for the same position with the platform of APC for the 2023 polls.

A group of young politicians from Owerri Zone Senatorial District who is desperate to enthrone a reliable person as Senator Owerri Zone has collectively frowned at the ugly heights of political desperadoes, vultures, and some persons described as sycophants who are surrounding Ugosly.

The group who pleaded their names not to be printed in this article expressed worry and disappointment over the obvious and the unending sycophantic nature of those persons alleged to be vultures.

Recalled that Ugosly contested for Senate in 2019 when he failed at the party primary elections discourtesy of those same people (politicians)who known as desperadoes and vultures.

Now, the same group of political vultures has aggressively reawakened their wicked mindsets at the moment, ahead of the 2023 elections with their mouths wide open to swallow the aspirants’ financial resources.

Note that Ugosly has officially declared his ambition and made his political intent to represent the people of Owerri Zone (Imo East) known last Saturday in Owerri at Imo Concorde Hotel and Casino.

Upon that same evil act of those people (beasts in politics) in Owerri Zone, the declaration ceremony of Ugosly which earlier recorded huge success, at last, ended in fiasco,  according to some persons who were in attendance.

Information had it in good faith that some members of the Organizing Committee for Ugosly’s 2023 Senatorial Declaration ceremony in their well-known greedy lifestyles, decided not to leverage (demobilize) some of the persons mobilized from across the nine (9) Local Government Areas of Owerri Zone.

Shortly after the event, over a hundred persons drawn from across political parties in the state were seen stranded.

So many of them were unable to leave the venue due to the obvious lack of what they tagged transportation fare to their various destinations.

Though, some cross-sections of media practitioners from some reputable news mediums who were invited and those uninvited told our Reporter that persons in-charge of Media for 2023 Senatorial Campaign for Ugosly, revealed that no single budget was made for the media.

Therefore, my candid advice to the aspirant, Prince Ugosly, is to be very careful with some persons around him whom the writers described as wolves in sheep’s clothing desperate to pull him down instead.
