Prominent Anioma political leaders under the aegis of Delta State Good Governance Forum (DSGGF) Saturday praised Dr. Ngozi Olejeme for her leadership qualities and contributions to development of Nigeria.
Rising from an emergency meeting in Asaba, the leaders tongue lashed those working against the interest of Dr. Olejeme.
They also called on Deltans at home and abroad to prevail on PDP delegates to vote for Dr. Olejeme
“We have arrived at cross-roads in our history where we need to be brave and decisive. For Delta State to move to greater heights, PDP delegates must look in the direction of Dr. Ngozi Olejeme”
Addressing Journalists at the end of the meeting, Chairman of DSGGF, Dr. Maxwell Nkenchor said Dr. Olejeme had not withdrawn from the governorship race as being speculated.
“Olejeme has demonstrated dedication and commitment to the noble objective of mobilizing Deltans for development and the rumours that she had stepped down were only attempts by her opponents to deter her teeming supporters” the leaders said,
The leaders asked the delegates to vote for Olejeme to bring quality leadership and improvement in the state.
They appealed to the other contestants to conduct their campaign in a decent manner devoid of insults, falsehood and character assassination to ensure peaceful primaries.
“Olejeme will invest in the human resource of the state. She will ensure unity, peace and stability. She will also promote good governance
“Olejeme will engage the people and determine what their aspirations are. She will protect lives and property, strengthen the rule of law and also create jobs”
