Nursing And Midwifery Council Of Nigeria Pays Courtesy Visit To Maryam Abacha American University Of Nigeria, Kano
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano on Tuesday.
The President of the institution, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo received the delegation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council, as he also led them on a tour of the university.
Aside from the tour of the university, the delegation was also taken to the Maryam Abacha American University Of Nigeria School of Nursing.
The council expressed satisfaction, seeing the unique structures of the building, which are fully equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms for lectures as well as state-of-the-art laboratories and offices.
At a meeting held at the MAAUN conference room soon after the tour, Mr. Faruq Umar Abubakar, the Secretary-General/Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, said that the aim of the visitation is to appreciate and applaud Maryam Abacha American University for its excellence.
He also commended that school for the training of smart and Intelligent students, especially nursing students.
He also commended the president of MAAUN for his selfless services and dedication towards excellence.
In his remarks, MAAUN President, Professor Gwarzo expressed his appreciation for the visit and said that he’s willing to render support to the council where necessary, and added that he is fascinated by the rules, principles, and criteria set by the council to ensure its continuous progress, and how other Nigerian Universities are adhering to the protocols provided.
