NNPC: Kachikwu’s Appointment Confirms Human Resources In Delta—LG Chair

downloadChairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Chuks Oseme, Friday, said that the appointment of Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation is a confirmation of the huge human resources that are in the state.

In a press statement made available to journalists at Issele-uku, headquarters of the council area, the council boss expressed satisfaction over the appointment of Dr. Kachikwu as the GMD of the petroleum corporation expressing confidence in the ability of Kachikwu to transform the corporation for the good of all Nigerians.

Oseme, who commended Buhari over the appointment, said it was a milestone achievement for Delta State, considering the needed changes being propagated by President Buhari for Nigeria.

Oseme said Dr. Kachikwu who is an indigene of the council area of Delta State, would make the council area proud as he would gather his experience from the private sector to boost development of the NNPC.

“I feel very proud that one of our own, the true son of Aniocha North has been elevated to such an enviable office. There is no place Aniocha North indigene has got to without making a great impact or success. Dr. Kachikwu is a further confirmation of endowment resources in the area”

He noted that the council area has produced great resource persons who have served Nigeria greatly in all spheres of human endeavours, saying Kachikwu was one of such who has contributed immensely to national development.

Oseme described Dr. Kachikwu as an excellent man whose records have showed in all his endeavors.

While the council chair was optimistic that Dr. Ibe Kachikwu would be one of the best Group Managing Directors that NNPC will ever produce,  he enjoined  all Nigerians to give him the needed support to achieve the needed changes in the NNPC.

Until his appointment, Dr. Kachikwu, a First Class Graduate of Law from the University of Nigeria Nsukka UNN, was the Executive Vice Chairman/General Counsel, ExxonMobil Africa, hail from Onicha-Ugbo in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta state.
