He assured that all hindrances affecting the smooth operations of the judiciary in the state will be resolved soon.
The Governor, who gave the assurance. While declaring open the new High Court Complex, Wednesday evening, disclosed that he has since approved all memos emanating from the judiciary but regretted that cash backing hindered implementation.
He however expressed optimism that as soon as the financial situation of the state improves, the problem would be resolved.
Governor Ngilari applauded the entire judicial arm of government for exhibiting maturity in carrying out its constitutional functions.
While identifying with the judiciary as part of his constituency, the Governor lamented. That he was not able to do much because of the financial situation he inherited and operated under.
In his remark, the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Ishaya Banu said the new High Court project has been on since two thousand and six and appreciated the commitment of governor Bala James Ngilari in completing the complex.
He also thanked the Governor for the concern and support he has rendered to the judiciary since he came into office as Governor.
Earlier in his address, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Barrister A.T Shehu, praised the Governor for taking the judiciary to a higher level.
He disclosed that the commissioning of the New High Court Complex is been done because of the personal efforts of the Governor to ensure that the project is completed and put to use.
