The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) begins the training of fifty (50) youths on electronics installation, carpentry, computer, Autronic, and automotive in Bauchi State.
Director general of the NDE Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo who Flagg off the program at Mr. Kunle Obayan Hall on Thursday in Bauchi.
Fikpo who was represented by the Bauchi State coordinator Alhaji Lawan Yaya Ali during the program, urges the participants to take use of the opportunity and learn the skill acquisition for the betterment of their future.
He said ” NDE is the last point of unemployed youths in this country.
That the reason for training the 50 unemployed youths, is for them to stop living recklessly, engaging in criminal activities, reducing hardship, and being gainfully employed in labour in the country.
” The program that starts today is part of the NDE 2022 budget but we so much believe that after the training will look at how to give them something in order to start their businesses for the betterment of themselves, Bauchi State, and Nigeria at large.
While speaking on behalf of the participants, Alhaji Mubarak Bala and Hajiya Kaltume Ahmed promised NDE that they would pay attention to their facilitators in order to learn well for their development.
He added that they will fully obey all the rules and regulations of the NDE to attend the training from day one to the end.
