774 FG Jobs: NDE Trains Beneficiaries On Basic Business Training Skills Bauchi

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Bauchi have begins the training of 774 Special Program Workers (SPW) across the three senatorial district’s on basic business training (BBT) skills in the state

 

The Director General of the NDE Malam Nuhu Abubakar Fikpo who was represented by the State Coordinator Ali Lawan said the objectives of the training was to equip the beneficiaries with the necessary skills in businesses and assist them to access loans facilities in banks with good financial business plans,

 

He said that the one thousand beneficiaries were selected from across all the 20 local government area councils in the state on the program, adding that the training is scheduled for six days in the three senatorial districts of the Bauchi.

 

He added that the training program was an Initiative from the headquarters with a view to step down training for the 774 Special Work Services to be more productive in their respective communities.

 

In her remarks, the NDE Director for Small Scale Enterprises Mrs Olaomi Silvia Roseline who was also been represented by Aisha Kana disclosed that the federal government has extended period for those that have issues on their BVN, names differential and other related problems with banks from initial three months up to six months to complete reconciling on their respective problems.

 

She however calls on the beneficiaries to concentrate on the training with a view to use the money towards venturing and engaging themselves into small businesses.

 

Speaking on behalf of participants, some of the beneficiaries Aminu Adamu and Amina Abdullahi who were the monitors of their respective group expressed joys over the intervention of the federal government on their allowances in various commercial banks.

 

Adamu said,. “We must commend the prompt action of the federal government and already a good number of the beneficiaries have started receiving their allowances.”

 

Abdullahi explained, “We did believe that our allowances would settle because of the difficulties we faced in the banks, but now we are happy by the step being taken by the federal government which yielded positive results and the bank has started paying us our allowances at one time.”
