Muhammed Ogoshi Onawo representing Nasarawa South senatorial district has said only God and the people he is representing will determine his political future come 2027.
The Senator gave this hint during an interview with Universal Reporters at the National Assembly.
The Senator unfolded this while reacting to a question of whether he has the intention to contest for Nasarawa State Governorship come 2027.
He maintained that 2027 is still far away, In addition he stated that the remaining years should serve as a trajectory to know his political direction in the next three years.
“You will only cross a bridge when you are on a bridge, For this reason is another topic to be discussed another day as far as politics is concerned”.
Onawo stated that the people of Nasarawa State would vote for him based on merit while accessing his remarkable achievements over the seventeen years.
Onawo said his benefits from the last seventeen years, eight years in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, eight years in the House of Representatives, and presently in the Senate.
Onawo asserted constituents felt the impact as he promised a more divided democracy.
“People should vote for me based on my political antecedent and weigh me, whether I perform or not for my constituents”.
Senator Ogoshi Onawo urged constituents to remain calm, resolute, and focused, He explained that he has facilitated the upgrade of Ashagwa-Atabula-Duduguru communities.
He said those roads when upgraded will make the roads motorable which he added would enhance socio-economic activities like the transportation of farm produce to the market.
