President Anaguta Development Association, Daniel Garba Decries How They’Re Confronted Over Ownership  Of Jos North LGA

The President Anaguta Development (ADA) Hon. Daniel Boka  Garba has decried how their nation   has been bedevilled with confrontations from those who challenge God’s providence in elevating the Anaguta Nation to superintend over this locality called Jos North Local Government Council in Plateau State.

But we remain resolute in the pursuit of peace and relentless in the preservation of justice and truth and support to culture  and to give credit to the collective desire and determination of the Anaguta people to move toward progress

He explained this during the occasion of Ishokori Anaguta cultural festival of 2024 and the five million Naira appeal fund for a multipurpose cultural and sports arena at Rwang Pam Stadium on Saturday.

Garba stated that “It is another milestone in the journey of Anaguta Nation as a person towards fulfilling her purpose in the affairs of men and reaching her destiny within the community of nations.

“Having been blessed by divinity uncommon capacity for hospitality and accommodation, metropolitan nature and cosmopolitan character of Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State.

“The Transition from Tukunku to Ishokori-Anaguta Annual Festival of Arts, The Anaguta nation has been supernaturally endowed with a rich most appropriate conceptual cultural heritage hence the need for a representation”, he said.

Daniel disclosed that the limitations of Tukunku as a general representation of our rich cultural heritage is obvious, since it is bound by time and practice. hill Tukunku remains an important tradition of Anaguta people like Tisandaka, Tikan and many other practices, Ishokori is a concept that covers almost the whole gamut of the Anaguta cultural experience.

He explained further that It all the major institutional performances like Isharuwa, Rimeze, Tiratu, Ipembu, Mansu,Ribaru, Uzoto, Irma, Tukomo Etc. Many Celebrations are connected to farming and harvest, Ishokori therefore becomes a medium for showcasing our delicacies in their varieties such as Cha (Tiweng, Iku, Ikateshi, Isongo) with soup (Senne) Su tuku, Tupwoku senne su gube, Tikankam, Ukutum Zhapa, Ukutum ,Igilim, Adankulem, Alauru, Tufondon, abati, Isungo, Ipene Ibonboro, Irene .

Daniel Garba maintained that the Anaguta cultural civilization has done exploits in the past and sustained us through the times.

” I am happy to announce that this upgrade is a conscious move to reorganise our heritage for further and future exploits.

“I am indeed delighted to serve at this period in the history of Anaguta Nation.”The theme of this year’s celebration says: “towards national cohesion and self-preservation in a challenging environment”,Garba stressed.

It is a fact that we are bedeviled with confrontations from those who challenge God’s providence in elevating the Anaguta Nation to superintend over this locality call Jos North. But we remain resolute in the pur’suit of peace and relentless in the preservation of justice and truth.

Garba  appreciated  distinguished special guest of honoured reflection and on behalf of the entire noble people of Anaguta as he welcomed them to this year’s Ishokori-Anaguta 2024 tireless in promoting peace and good governance throughout the State.

He commended former Governor Joshua Dariye on his deliberately designed policy of emancipation that saw Anaguta Nation on the path of Chiefdom. Sir may your family and many generations afterward reap the harvest of the kindness and love you have shown to our nation.
