The mother of Mr. Yayaha Muhammad, a former lawmaker in the state House assembly, representing Suletankarkar constituency and former Special adviser on political affairs to the Jigawa State Governor Badaru Abubakar, has been kidnaped by unknown gunmen.
The Commissioner of Police Mr Bala Zama who confirmed said, the gunmen kidnapped the elderly woman yesterday night at her residence in Danladin Gumel, in Suletankarkar Local Government of Jigawa state.
According to him, the police are doing their best to rescue the woman from her captives.
