Mikang APC Assures Of Delivering The Council To Governor Simon Lalong

The All Progressive Congress Executives of Mikang Local Government Area in Plateau state have paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner for information and communication, Hon Yakubu Dati promising their unalloyed support to the APC government ahead of the Local Government elections in the state.

 

The Chairman Hon Dajan JP  Shepdui who disclosed this to the Commissioner Hon Yakubu Dati said they have come to congratulate him as one of their own for his meritorious service to the state and to wish him  well in his future endeavor.

 

We thank Governor Simon Lalong for finding our son worthy of being an ambassador of the state to be appointed as the mouth piece of government; we know Yakubu Dati performance right from the Local government when he became Council chairman so to us this elevation didn’t come to us as a surprise.

 

However, our delayed in coming and pay him official visit was a deliberate plan to allow him settled down for executive duty so we urge the government to fixed a day for fresh local government election that the people of Mikang are ready to deliver to APC and Governor Simon Lalong come 2019 general election .

 

We appeal that our youth who are graduates should be given employment into the state civil service to reduce poverty in the state.

 

Shepdui told the Commissioner that their visit was to remind the party of their readiness to stand firm for the cause of working hard to canvas for votes in wards to LG and state even national levels.

 

Responding, The Commissioner for information and communication Hon Yakubu Dati applauded them for taking their time to come and they are the first local government to embark on the visit.

 

Dati urged the APC exco in Mikang local government to maintain the peaceful disposition that they are known for, as he told them about the new road contract of dual carriageway requested by Governor Simon Lalong.

 

We all know that Mikang people are 100% APC so we are saying remain committed to Plateau projects of transforming the state going on by the present government.

 

He asked the exco to deliver all their polling units, Dati condemned what he called Jos politician saying the party is very strong both at the state and national levels.

 

Dati tasked the Mikang APC to continue to preach the gospel of electioneering campaign of blackmail by the opposition who are busy confusing themselves with all manner of lies.
