Masari Commissions 4.8 Km Township Road In Jigawa

Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari has commissioned Kiyawa Township Road, which was constructed by the present administration of Governor Badaru Abubakar.

While commissioning the projects Masari commended Governor Badaru Abubakar for the gigantic projects being done by his government, which is aimed at developing the state.

He also called on the people of Kiyawa Local Government to consider the projects as their personal properties by taking care of the projects; he charged them to desist from using refuse dumps to block the drainage which could easily assist in destroying the road.

On his part, the former member who represented Kiyawa at the National Assembly, Hon Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya said in the history of Kiyawa L G there has not been any achievement like in this period of Governor Badaru Abubakar administration.

He assured that the people in the area will always be on his side as he asks Governor Badaru to add more additional projects that will improve the living standard of their people especially in the area of agriculture.

While delivering his speech, Governor Badaru at the commissioning of Kiyawa township road confirmed that the road which is a 4.8km road was constructed by his administration for the people of Kiyawa local government and also rehabilitated six roads all in Kiyawa Local Govt, as he said his government will add more street lights in Kiyawa as he stated further that the Jigawa state government has spent over eight hundred million Naira for the township road projects.

The Governor also said that 80 to 91 percent of the people living in Jigawa state have benefited from at least one single project in their locality.

Masari thanked Badaru for inviting him and adding his name to the history of Jigawa State as he said continuation is a sign of development.

He urged people in the state to give maxim support to Governor Badaru Abubakar for the developmental projects taking place in the state, adding that Jigawa state is his second home.
