The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State Barr Caleb Mutfwang appreciates the efforts made of recent by concerned individuals and groups to bring the Labour Party into a working agreement with the PDP for Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly election.
Yiljap Abraham the Directorate of Media and Publicity Atiku-Okowa/Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council Plateau State disclosed this in a statement in Jos
However, he wishes to put it on record that while discussions are ongoing, a letter of resignation purportedly signed by the candidate of the Labour Party, Dr. Patrick Dakum is circulating in the social media to that effect.
He wishes to state clearly that he does not approve of such underhanded tactics that have been employed to create and circulate information alluding to the contrary on the social media.
Any information regarding his stance and other matters will be released through the usual official channel.
Barr Mutfwang calls on party faithful to remain alert and stay focused on carrying out their duty to vote and safeguard their votes in Saturday’s election.
