The Leadership of the Christian network Executive in Plateau, Northern Senatorial District has applauded the peaceful disposition of delegates and unity of oneness demonstrated in the just concluded APC primary election in Jebbu Bassa Local Government Area.
The Chairman of Jos North chapter of the network of Christian David Peter Olu congratulated the Hon. Abbey Joseph Aku for his landslide victory at the poll as he prepare to face the main election on 26th February 2022.
We the entire APC delegates of the chiefdoms of Bassa LGA welcome with joy the effort of the state government in dialogue with each others before the rerun that was earlier declared inconclusive for the By-election .
The stakeholders commended the Irigwe delegates during their separate interactions at Chat Village Inn LTD, Agingi along Rukuba Road where we all agreed to overwhelmingly support the candidature of Hon. Abbey Aku between Bassa, delegates, and our community leaders.
However,we all express our grievances before heading to poll , but unanimously agreed to forgive and support the aspiration of Hon. Abey Aku from Bassa the former Commissioner of Commerce and Industry.
Meanwhile, the delegates and community leaders of Irigwe, Rukuba, and Pengana Chiefdoms of Bassa LGA’s met at Kihang Road and resolve to eschew violence and tolerate one another inspite of their diversity.
The Christian leadership in attendance admonishes them to consider this Primary’s as a well ideal for the next generation to come if not Posterity would judge them .
Responding, leadership of Rukuba, Comrade Adankala Joseph said this is a unifying effort and he assured all the supporters of APC of victory at the end of the day.
Similarly, The representative of the Irigwe Chiefdom Mr. John kpas encouraged the delegates to ensure absolute loyalty and to bring victory to the entire Jos North/Bassa federal constituency considering the wisdom of the State Governor
Mr. Irimiya Adamu from Pengana Chiefdom expressed their support for the aspiration of Hon. Abey Aku as their own and prayed for God Guidance.
