Lamido Says Will Supports Aminu Kano CDRT By Ahmed Muhammed

Jigawa state governor Alhaji Sule Lamido has charged politicians in the country to emulate the progressive political ideology of the late Malam Aminu Kano which stand for building country democratic structure, human dignity, peace, unity and development.

According to the Governor he said that  as long as Jigawa state government is concerned, he is ready to use the resources available to support the course of late Malam Aminu Kano of blessed memory to promote the current democracy.

Lamido who stated this yesterday in government house Dutse while playing host to the leadership and management of the Aminu Kano Centre for Democratic Research and Training (Mumbaya house) Kano who paid a courtesy call to the Governor.

The Governor assured them of his support as far as late Malam Aminu Kano concerned. Promised assist the institute to organized its proposed memorial Lecture for late Aminu Kano.

He advised political class in the country, the north in particular to emulate the late politician. “We all know during his days he was trying to chart a good course for the whole country to build its political structure”.

Lamido urged that government at all levels should have participate in conservation of what late Aminu Kano has left behind and what he was standing for. “They should practice and learn from Aminu Kano’s political ideology”.

Earlier, the Director of the Centre, Professor Muhammed Dahiru Suleiman has commanded Lamido for transforming Jigawa state. Adding that “both political and other projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the citizens of the state were being achieved”.
