Keffi PDP Accused Appeal Tribunal of Upturning PDP Victory, By Rabiu Omaku
The PDP in Keffi Local Government has accused the Presiding Judge of the Appeal Tribunal of setting bad precedence for the Judiciary.
Keffi Local Government Scribe, Sani Mohammed gave the hint during a press conference held at the party office, in Keffi today.
The secretary said Justice Aisha’s judgement negates the Judicial profession in its entirety.
The PDP opined that the action of Justice Aisha created doubt. In the mind of the opposition, as the judge for upturning the victory of the PDP to the APC in Keffi Local Government.
“We have doubts in the submission of the presiding judge for her utterances before the Judgement as she disregard a court order restraining her over the same matter of Keana Local Government.”
The PDP cautioned all those whose cases are pending with Justice Aisha to immediately withdraw their cases to avoid a miscarriage of justice.
The party called on the National Judicial Council to sanction Justice Aisha before she cause more harm and damage to the Judicials System.
The Party full of hope said the PDP would unseat Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura from Shendam Road Government House.
“This should serve as a quit notice to Governor Al- Makura.”
PDP also advocated for peaceful co-existence among the different ethnic groups in the state. “We should see ourselves as brothers and sisters, but not foe, he said.
