Jubilation In Imo APC As Osinbajo, Party NWC, Others Storm Imo For Uzodinma’s Campaign Flag-Off, Friday 21st Dec

Owing to the alleged bad governance witnessing by the people of Imo state, under Governor Rochas Okorocha, all the political fans and supporters of the Imo APC 2019 Guber Candidate, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, have being jubilating upon the hearing of the coming of the Nigerian Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and the members of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party alongside other political bigwigs of the party on Friday,Dec.21th 2018 in Owerri,Imo State to flag of his 2019 electioneering campaign.
This was made known to journalists in the State in a media briefing held on Wed. 19th Dec.2018 at Camp Hope’s campaign office along Okigwe Road Owerri.
According to the spokesman for Sen. Hope,Barrister Kingsley Ononuju, who said, come this Friday 21st Dec.2018 “the entire Nigeria, including the National Working Committee ,members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, various State Governors, members of the National Assembly and others party stalwarts of the party led by the Vice President, Professor Osinbajo on behalf of the President of Nigeria,Mohammadu Buhari,will converge at Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri for the official take-off of Sen.Uzodinma’s Campaign for 2019.
“It is indeed new dawn, the eagle has landed against all odds, Onwa Ndi-Imo is in full phase and Imo must be restored to greatness”, Ononuju said.
The legal luminary further noted that Imo State has been tremendously experiencing the reign of terror and impunity, an era of despondency and gross mal-administration, misappropriation of public fund, heinous, the imposition of candidates, nepotism under Governor Rochas.
“Imo people were helpless and there was this unfounded and oppressive claim that there are no longer men in the state, that everyone has been subdued and swept under carpet. Concluding,he said “you are all invited and I expected to see all of you at the monumental and memorable event that will herald a new beginning for Imo State, underpinned by good leadership, transparent, productive and all-inclusive governance, which will create wealth and employment opportunities for Imo people,and a workable succession plan that will restore the Imo charter”, he submitted.
“It had taken an Orlu man like Okorocha to shatter the Imo chatter of equity, it will also take another Orlu man like Uzodinma to restore it”, he concluded.
