Journalist, 3 Others Pick  ADC  Declaration  Forms For State, Rep Race

The African Democratic Party, ADC, Plateau State Chapter on Wednesday sold nomination forms to at least four candidates, including a journalist with the Blueprint Newspaper, as they appealed to the general public to vote the ruling APC out of power and PDP which are charging high fees.

Speaking to our medium after picking his nomination form, Comrade Mohammed Tanko Shittu expressed satisfaction with the ADC for allowing him to use their platform.

He urged INEC to conduct free and fair elections in Nigeria so that the country would move forward.

He frowned at the situation where the nomination forms are sold to the masses at a high cost, we challenge them to follow their manifesto.

He said,” today is significant to me in my political career, having obtained the nomination form to contest for the State Assembly seat, and my acceptance to vie for the seat of Jos North -North state constituency in the state House following the intensive clarion call by my constituents.

He explained that with God’s will if elected, I will deliver a qualitative representation of carrying everyone alone and the view of all constituents on how base to move people together towards the achievement of total peace, progress, and prosperity.

Shittu disclosed that as a journalist, he would bring his experience to bear by ensuring that the constituency is more united.

Hon Abdul’Azeez Mohammed Tubibi who is aspiring for Jos North /Bassa Federal constituency, says he joined the race to consolidate on the achievement of the past leaders and promote the tenets of democracy.

He stressed that as a youth we join the ADC in order to bring about credible options by calling on the youth to come together to effect change in politics.

Mohammed urged the people of Bassa /Jos North Federal constituency to support his candidature so enjoy the benefit of purposeful representation.

He added that the situation in Nigeria is not just talking about the cost of obtaining nomination forms, we want to clinch the seat.

He said they believe in ADC, which is the only political party that can provide leadership to Nigerians.

Hon Khalid Ahmad the candidate for Pankshin, Kanam, and Kanke Federal constituency says he feels like a youth coming to contribute towards the betterment of their lives.

He said going to vie legislative arms of government is positive because we can’t keep quiet anymore and it is time for us to participate at the table of leadership.

Hon Daniel D.Nandak who also is contesting for the Mangu South constituency of the state assembly said he is so excited seeing himself picking the nomination forms of a political party.

He noted that I see it as a dream come true coming to pick a political party my ambition is to see my contest for a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly.

According to him, my aspiration is to represent the good people of Mangu South which today marks the beginning of the turning point of my journey.

He stated that I started with a high level of confidence and soon we shall be sworn in to deliver a wonderful race.
