Hon.Salisu And Four Councillorship Aspirants Pick Labour Party Nomination Forms

Hon . Muazu Sani Salisu, a former House of Representatives Candidate of ADC has purchased his expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the Chairmanship primary election of the Labour Party  (LP) in Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State and four Councillorship aspirants in the race .

He said that they were at the secretariat of LP to pick the nomination of interest form for the Chairmanship of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State

Muazu is the first to purchase the forms ahead of the party’s primary election saying that Jos North is one of the flash points, especially Jos Jarawa the people of the Jos need to be united and promote peaceful coexistence amongst them with the diverse ethnic tribes and religious differences.

The PLASIEC   has scheduled 9th October 2024 for the conduct of the Local Government election in the state ,Hon Muazu Sani Salisu promised to deliver on his campaign promises to the people of Plateau State if given the mandate to be elected as the Executive Chairman of Jos North LGA.

He assured the people of all inclusiveness and he can play the politics of carrying everyone alone. We understand the game very well owning to our long stay, so we are going to embark on people-oriented projects that touch the lives of citizens and promote togetherness.

Muazu said, if given the mandate the administration would work hand in hand with Governor Caleb Mutfwang despite the autonomy granting the local governments to be independent.

According to him, the area of his concern is prompt payment of worker’s salary as when due and also focus more on infrastructure development to improve the well-being of the citizens.

In a statement made to the general public by Mrs. Grace Zamfara that, : “The Party has flagged off the sale of nomination forms for the Local Government Election with the PLASIEC , As she presented the  Expression of Interest & Nomination forms to Salisu and four Councillorship aspirants.

“Hon.Salisu  was represented with the nomination of interest form by the State Chairperson of the LP at the party secretariat on Friday in Jos South LGA .”

Speaking earlier,Comr Azeez Sunday Azuk Councillorship aspirant for Asak ward in Bassa LGA stressed that his campaign slogan is to ensure that the people are more united, especially the youth who’re the vanguard of change.

He expressed satisfaction with the people for their positive support in his ward so picking the LP nomination form assured of a landslide victory for the party.

Azuk stated that when the people are united together, they will make progress and achieve a common goal so as a legislature he would put forward the challenges of insecurity bedeviling the ward.

He disclosed that when the people are divided, we won’t achieve that promised land so our basic focus is to remain committed to the welfare of the citizens.
