The embattled Chairman, Jos North Local Government Council, Hon.Bala Shehu Usman who was sacked by Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has continued with the ongoing construction of Jenta Adamu,Jenta Mangoro ,Apata , ,Terminus,and Ungwan Rimib roads and roads networks across the length and breadth of Jos North LGA.
The commendations were made during the second phase of Jenta Adamu Mangoro road linking on Tuesday in Jos.
The embattled chairman of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, Bala Shehu , has bagged the outstanding local government chairman award in Plateau State by the people of Jos North West constituency after ensuring that the roads couldn’t become trapped by motorists plying the council.
The honour was bestowed on him by the Youth Council of Nigeria (YCN), Plateau State chapter for meritorious achievements.
The Youth group urged Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang to consider his numerous landmark achievement and not to consider people on party affiliation.
The group spokesman Comrade Amos Joshua said the achievements of the Hon.Bala Shehu Usman were in recognition of his performance since his election into office.
Joshua hinted that the Jos North Local Government boss was adjudged the best through the number of human capital development and the completion of Jenta Adamu ward road linking Jenta Mangoro and Tudun wada community.
He said: “Ouite a lot have been achieved by the Shehu Bala -led administration in the council area within the short period he was elected alongside 17 others some months back.
“His sterling performance earned him massive support from the people of the state following his remarkable success.
According to YCN, we saw and believed that the performance of Bala Shehu in all areas and this recognition will go a long way to spur him and his colleagues to do more at the grassroots if given the second mandate .”
All the remarks predicted that “the recognition of Shehu Bala is a call to do more and a reminder that all acts of every individual are being watched and would be rewarded accordingly. ”
While noting that the recognition wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the people of the local government area and Plateau State at large.
He promised a more positive turnaround in the local government area if given the second opportunity saying his administration firmly believes that the council area can be transformed for the social, economic, and political benefits of its people within a very short time.
The group explained that a lot of people are now being encouraged to establish new businesses in the local government area to provide employment.
“At the moment, palliatives have been activated to make roads passable for investors. Plans are also being put in place to boost agriculture, improve the education and healthcare systems, promote tourism and cultural activities as well as enhance security,” he added.
