Jigawa State Police Command Arrested Vandals, Who Stole AIRTEL Equipment In Maigatari, Jigawa

The Divisional Police Headquarters in Maigatari Jigawa arrested one 35-year-old Micheal Lalong of Fwanzak Village, Pankshin LGA of Plateau State.

The Police said he criminally conspired with four other unknown persons now at large and they broke into an Airtel service mast at Kwanar Madana, Of Maigatari LGA, and cut off all the connected cables to the generator, and thereafter stole away its battery.

An alarm raised by Security Guard on duty, however,  led to his arrest by the Police, in which the Police said Micheal Lalong, is now in their custody,  while others suspect took to their heels.

 

According to the police, the stolen battery was recovered by the police in a nearby bush. An investigation is still on, as the effort to arrest the fleeing suspects is still on.

 

The Police Public Relations Officer ASP Zubairu Aminudeen Ismail confirmed the story.
