The Hisba command in Jigawa has arrested 11 people At Gidan John Quarters of Dutse Local Government Area suspected to be hooligans, of the 11 persons arrested, eight are women and three men, they were arrested when they were taking drinks and smokes during the just concluded fasting period.
Those arrested include Munkaila Abdullahi,Yakubu Wreca Muhammed Sani and Rakiya Umar, others include Hafsat Salisu ,Hassana Inuwa Suwaiba Hassan ,Baraatu Muhammed and Kardau Idris, as learnt by this medium some of them are from Nasarawa State ,Kano ,Kaduna and Cameroon and the rest are indigenes of Jigawa state.
The suspects were charged to Sharia court as the presiding judge, Justice Malam Jib Rim Mustapha has remanded the suspects in prison pending completion Police investigation.
The court adjourned the case for hearing to 10 July, 2017 as they were detained based on section 299 of the Jigawa State sharia court, sub section 2 of section a and c of the Jigawa panel code.
