A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Former Member Representing Jos North, Bassa Federal Constituency, Hon Lumumba Adah Adeh has condemned in its totality the dimension where a group of unknown persons cut down 10 hectares of crops by causing suffering and hardship to innocent Nigerian as barbaric and callous for man to cut down premature crops in farmland.
Hon Adeh stated this in an interview with our correspondent over the dastardly act of inhumanity to a fellow man in Jos.
According to him, this act of destruction of hectares of farmland in Jwol, twice Jebu Miango were cropping worth millions of Naira were cut down last night, making the total of one in Riyom LGA and twice in Jebu Miango as worrisome.
He described the entire act as unhealthy to the peaceful coexistence of Nigeria when a group of assailants sneaks into people’s farmlands cutting the whole crops is bad.
Adah Adeh appealed to security personnel to ensure the safety of lives and properties of the citizens by expressing concern that the situation is so bad that some masqueraders arrived in the middle of the night to wreak havoc on innocent Nigerians.
He added that the insecurity bedeviling Irigwe chiefdom for over two decades now is an unprovoked attack with many losses of lives.
Lumumba stressed that the killings of the natives and activities of bandits call for collective involvement of stakeholders intervention, we have seen bloodbath women and children are brutally murdered.
