The embattled Chairman of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State ,Hon. Gideon Danderang has threatened to expose the Hon.Peter Vwang Dung shoddy deals in office if he continues laying allegations of fake corruption and misappropriation against him.
Gideon stated this in an interview at his mining residence of Jos South LGA while responding to journalists on the committee set up by Peter Vwang Dung on 19th February 2024 to investigate him at the council Secretariat, Jos.
He said go and tell him to look at the procedure in the government auctioning of properties before embarking on a wild goose chase. These are vehicles that were bought in 2003 that lack value then the council wrote to the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs when they gave the approval and that process was followed.
However, after the bidding, the committee advertised and sold all the cars to those who were interested and I want to advise the illegal Chairman to know that there is no car I want to drive that I can’t drive in Nigeria and that I don’t that have the capacity to buy it.
Adding, even if I like to buy a car I won’t go for a second-class value car I am a fine guy so don’t you see? That I deserve quality material, he added.
Danderang explained that we are living in a country that is being governed by rule and regulation by the special grace of God I’m not just a Nigerian but am a Nigerian with a portfolio and I know what is the rule, I know the process, I want to tell you that I am not scare of anybody as far as I am concerned Nigeria is governed by rule to the crown.
According to him, the local government in Nigeria is governed by three processes and the law must follow Constitutional backing so if you allege that somebody has looted the government go straight and expose that allegation rather than fabricating procrastination so I’m waiting to handle him.
He disclosed that during the period of stewardship as the Executive Chairman of Jos South, he has served his people meritoriously as he let Vwang Dung go through the council records and see who amongst them had bitten his achievements since the creation of the council.
Gideon pointed out that this is an illegal administration that came through the backdoor and I also serve as his secretary in the council with all his bad records of dirty deals so I know his onion and his pedigree and I’m not here to castigate anybody but I want to tell him that he is alleging that I have looted the council.
He urged Peter Vwang Dung to stop the ongoing project I have introduced which is almost completed and he is coming to claim glory for his achievements or else I can go the extra mile to bring the document to the public.
Gideon warned that he remains the authentic Chairman of Jos South LGA an elected Chairman, not a management committee.
