The 1st Paramount Ruler of Zaar Chiefdom, His Royal Majesty, Brig. Gen. Marcus Kokko Yake (Rtd), has extended a gesture of goodwill to strengthen religious harmony in the Chiefdom. During the holy month of Ramadan, His Majesty distributed essential food items, including bags of rice, Bags of sugar, and one carton of Dates to Muslim religious leaders to support them and their families during this sacred period.
The Royal Father explained that the initiative is meant to ease the burden on families, promote peace, and ensure that everyone can observe the fasting period in a spiritually fulfilling way. He emphasized that the gesture reflects his ongoing commitment to the welfare of all people in Zaar Chiefdom, and his determination to foster unity and mutual respect among all communities, regardless of religion.
Imam Faizu Ado Doguwa of Tafawa Balewa Central Mosque expressed deep appreciation on behalf of the Muslim community. He described the support as timely, thoughtful, and impactful, particularly during a period when many families are focused on prayer and fasting. He prayed for the Royal Majesty’s long life, good health, and continued success in leadership.
Also benefiting from His Majesty’s generosity were members of the Christian community. Rev. Fr.
