Nasarawa State governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule hailed the state Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Aliyu Bello for his commitment towards the upliftment of the education sector.
The governor gave the commendation during a reception organized by the Aliyu Bello foundation to honored 2,500 newly appointed teachers in the state.
The Special Adviser on special duties, Murtala Lamus stated this at the weekend, He said the party scribe deserved acolyte for his determination and doggedness to invest heavily in education.
Speakers after speakers commended Senator Al-Makura for engaging the 2,500 teachers which were subsequently given Permanent and pensionable employment by Engineer Abdullahi Sule.
Sarkin Azara, Dr.Kabiru Ibrahim shower encomium on both past and present governors for their zeal to uplift the education of the younger generation.
He also lauded Aliyu Bello Educational Foundation for the award of scholarship and registration of free NECO and WAEC to a multitude of beneficiaries.
The monarch opined that the effort was geared towards the upliftment of the standard of education, urging the state governor, Abdullahi Sule to give topmost priority to the training and retraining of teachers.
The Commissioner of Education, Science, and Technology, Fati Sabo advised the newly employed teachers to take advantage of the Bureau for Information, Communication Technology to acquaint themselves with ICT.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Usman Abu who represented the Commissioner disclosed this.

Calling on well to do in the state to copy Aliyu Bello’s example of touching the lives of the people.
Abu further confirmed that the 2,500 teachers have been paid their salary last month.
