Governor Al-Makura Gives Karu Traders Two Months Ultimatum To Relocate

Nasarawa state Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has given Karu traders two months ultimatum to relocate the occupants; The Governor hinted this while inspecting the gateway to the Federal Capital Territory.

He said the relocation was in the interest of the people, the governor also promised to tackle the menace of erosion causing untold hardship to the area.

Al-Makura also informed the Development Control to divert the source of flood causing wreckage to the people.

The Governor affirmed that Nasarawa state Government would collaborate with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide a conducive waterway to end the preponderances faced by people.

In a related development, Governor Al-Makura gave the operators of New Nyanya Mass Transit two weeks ultimatum to relocate.

“We won’t allow traders displaying their wares by the roadside, said Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.”
