For Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, just as it is written in the Bible that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, the same may be applied to the former Senator turned Governor that the fear of APC stalwart, Cairo Ojugboh may be the beginning of wisdom for him.

This is this medium learnt that events unfolding since the decamping of Dr. Ojugboh to the APC, may see Okowa kiss the Delta Government House goodbye in 2019.

Findings by this medium reveal that after the recent budget presentation, Okowa drove to the legislators’ quarter at night without any of his aides; however, universalreporters247.com learnt that the agitated governor went with few security details.

According to a source; “The meeting which was held at the Delta Speaker’s residence saw Okowa in a panic state over Cairo’s attack on him, which is like a stoking fire on him and his government, as the source told this medium that Okowa was seen talking in a very jittery manner before the lawmakers.

Telling the lawmakers not to abandon him but to join hands with him to wave off this Cairo Ojugboh hurricane sweeping his government

“Whatever amount of money or will cost you people and my government to stop Cairo, I will spend it,” Okowa said.

The source told this medium that Okowa told the lawmakers that he is aware that Cairo does not engage in a battle he won’t win and he’s very sure there’s a power from above causing Cairo to put his government in heat.

“I can tell you that Okowa was practically begging the lawmakers not to listen to whatever Cairo says but to work together with him for 2019 to see him win the election,” the source told this medium.”

However, universalreporters247.com learnt that after the meeting, ten of the lawmakers who are loyal to Cairo went to another venue to have their own meeting where they vowed to shame the governor and provide more information to bring down the government since he has turned them to civil service politicians.
