Jigawa State Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has sacked twenty-five out of the twenty-seven Local Government Secretaries in the state.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Ministry for Local Government, Najib Umar, he said the Governor relieved all the secretaries of their appointments except that of Sule Tankarkar and Buji Local Governments with immediate effect.
He, however, directed them to immediately hand over all official materials to Local Governments’ Directors of Admin and General Services ( DAGS)
The Governor appreciated the contributions of the LG chairs and wished them success in their future endeavors.
