“I want to thank God for giving Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to the world as a gift and peace ambassador. He did so many things to change the hitherto bad narratives of the country by laying solid foundations while in the saddle”. The Governor told the gathering.

He reminded the gathering of the global audience present at the 3-in-1 event that Baba Obasanjo laid the foundation that is currently being enjoyed in the telecommunication industry by introducing the Global System of Mobile Telecommunications GSM which is now the bedrock of virtual businesses and corporate governance.

Senator Adeleke while thanking the ex-president for his love and belief in the Osun State Government under his leadership, Governor Adeleke told the gathering that Osun has reclaimed its position as the most peaceful state in Nigeria by following Chief Obasanjo’s advice to stick to the rule of law and not give in to the antics of the dark forces who were doing all within their reach to make the state unsafe.
