Governor Adeleke described Senator Saraki as a distinguished Nigerian, whose strides in public service are outstanding. As an Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo, Senator Saraki exudes excellence, which earned him a call for a bigger role as the Governor of Kwara State.
In the eight years as Governor, Senator Saraki changed the face of the state, investing in beneficial human and capital developments that has remained unmatched till date. In the legislature, Senator Saraki made the people the focus of his agenda, explaining the incredible success the Senate recorded under his leadership as the President of the Senate.
As he turns 60 years today, I share with him the joy of the moment, and salute his untiring efforts in promoting the wellbeing of his people over the years and remaining unwavering in his commitment to the progress of Nigeria.
