Gombe PDP Flags Off Campaign, Vows To Win All Positions By Kalshingi H Jedidah

Barely few weeks to the Nigeria’ 2015 general elections, the ruling People’s Democratic Party in Gombe has Yesterday kicked off its campaign rally, and re-election campaign bid for the incumbent Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, said it would not stop at anything until it claims all elective positions in the general elections.
Speaking to the mammoth crowd of supporters in Kumo Akko Local Government of the state, Governor Dankwambo described the PDP as a law abiding party and that it would not condone any political activity that stands in variance to the provision of the constitution and the electoral Act.
Dankwambo who said the party has enjoyed massive support and cooperation by people over the years also enjoined the people to continue to give their unreserved support to the success of the elections, even as he expressed that, all successes that were achieved was as a result of the people’s support.
He however called on all party supporters to desist from all forms of political violence, but rather exhibit true patriotism by acquiring the Voter’s cards to enable them exercise their civic rights by electing leaders of their choices in the general elections.
Similarly, the PDP Campaign Director in the state, Sen Saidu Umar Kumo in his remarks expressed that, the PDP in the state has organised itself to run for all political positions in the forth coming general elections and that, the party was ready to wrestle all through the electoral process until it ensure total victory.

According to him, because the party is law abiding, it has set itself to run all campaigns according to the provision of the law, and strict adherence to laws and order. He called on all campaign supporters to rally round and massively support the party. Adding that, the PDP lead government has transformed the state in last three and half years.
