Go To Orogu House And Conduct Your Interview Not PDP Secretariat, Party Youth Tell Journalists

Youth identified to be loyalists to the three big shots of the People’s Democratic Party that were suspended by the then embattled Chairman, Hon. Francis Orogu barricaded the main gate of the State Secretariat situated along Jos Road.

 

The aggrieved Youths closed the gate at about 10:25 am stopping people mostly Journalists from either coming in   or going out of the premises as some of the ópposing youth attacked Journalists with hussed words

 

“You are not invited to PDP Secretariat because Orogu is no longer our Chairman or the Caretaker committee Chairman, where is he getting his power from, they asked.

 

 

This and other threat by PDP youth loyal to the embattled chieftains foist Orogu to shift the venue of the press briefing to his castal along Lafia East road.

 

The embattled Caretaker committee Chairman while briefing Journalists said he decided to reschedule the venue of the press conference to his house to avoid any break down of law and order.

 

“I’m not afraid of them rather I played safe to avoid internal rumpus that would escalate the whole thing”.

 

Orogu called on all his die hard to disregard the court Judgement  as he appealed to party loyalists to remain calm.

 

Orogu told his teeming supporters that he remained the Caretaker committee Chairman of Nasarawa State

 

He said he will resist any attempt by the court to cause unnecessary furor in the party.

 

At the time of filing this report armed mobile police men were stationed at the venue of the press conference.
