Federal High Court Lafia Convicts 2 Drug Dealers By Rabiu Omaku, Lafia

Two drug Dealers, Ogbekpa and Nasiru Abdullahi of  Rugan Abdullahi all Mararaba, Karu Local government  has  been convicted to three months imprisonment by the Federal High Court sitting in Lafia.

The drug addicts pleaded guilty when called upon to attest to their matter before the court.

The presiding Judge, Agatha convicted Emmanuel to three months imprisonment for being in possession 250 grams of cannabis Sative, also Nasiru Abdullahi was sentenced to three months respectively.

They all pleaded guilty and confesses not to back to their crime again, they pleaded with court to temper justice in their conviction.

The presiding judge, Justice Agatha in her judgement averred that the offences of the contravened section 11 (c) and Act 27 of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

It would be recalled that the two has been awaiting trial for the last 36 months behind bars.
